Top Keyboard Support Games For Your Chromebook
When initially play store support came to my Chromebook, I was very happy to try a million games that come with it, but what I never thought was that most games on android are touch screen. So if your Chromebook doesn't have touchscreen support, it can be hard to find games that support a keyboard or joystick and even if your Chromebook has touchscreen support, I find it hard to play games with a touchscreen on big screens. That's where this blog hopefully will help you. On this page, I created my own favorite keyboard-supporting games for Chromebooks and all of them you can download easily from the play store for free.
Let's get straight into the list. and remember there is no specific order. I love all these games.
1. Asphalt 9
This is probably the highest graphic game on this list. It's a racing game with lots of speeding and drifting. You can play online solo as well as in multiplayer mode. The game provides lots of known cars. Controlling the car makes the games experience very enjoyable. The game has two options either you can drive with game assistance or take full control of the game.
I have been told that for some Chromebooks this game is a little bit heavy and they have glitches, so I thought I would mention just in case that you can actually change the graphics of the game from the game settings and lower the graphics. Other than that game runs amazing on my Chromebook and it fully supports a keyboard and mouse. There is another racing game that I love to play on my Chromebook. It runs smoothly on my Chromebook and never had any issues with this game. This game is the sequel to Beach Buggy Blitz which is by the way again keyboard compatible.
I used to love playing Mario kart. When I got my Chromebook I wondered what alternative can I get that will have a similar style and gameplay. I think this game is really fun. Specially it's free and good for all ages.
3. Oddmar
I love this game so much. It's a really cool side-scrolling game with a very backstory and funny at the same time. This is actually an offline game, but you would need the internet initially only, but after that, you can play offline.
So if you love the Action-adventure Platformers in Norse Mythology type of games, then definitely try this game. I also didn't mention it, but I find this game to be very beautifully made and very colorful.
4. Coromon
Coromon is a retro pixelart game with fun modern taming monsters. Coromon has an immersive cool storyline. With lots of puzzles and strategic levels to a classic genre.
If you love old-school Pokemon game boy games or Stardew Valley, then definitely try this game. I love retro games and when I saw this game and find out that it supports a keyboard I downloaded it right away. I enjoyed the gameplay a lot.
5. Asphalt 8
So the last one on my list is Asphalt 8. If you love Asphalt 9 but it's heavy on your Chromebook or you just want some other game, then this is probably the next best racing game you can find in the play store that fully supports the keyboard.
Racing multiplayer online game. Drive cars and motorcycles. So if you like cars and motorcycles this game has both.
So these are all my favorite games on my Chromebook for now. I will keep updating this post if anything new comes up or do part 2. Thank you for reading and hope you can find this blog useful. Let me know if you know of any other games from Playstore that support the keyboard in the comment section down below.
