Android Games Keyboard Support Coming To Chromebooks
If you are someone like me who love playing android games on Chromebook and you don't have a touch screen, then you might be limited to a small games library that can support a keyboard, but this might be changed soon.
Recently I found out that the Chrome Os team working hard to bring keyboard support to Chromebook android games. So basically if you ever played emulators on your Chromebook like PPSSPP, you know that you can map keys by choosing what button will do what command. Similarly, it will look like that here too. So the idea is to simulate a touchscreen by pressing your keyboard keys. So basically translating buttons into touch events
This update came with Chrome OS 105. So if you have this version you might see in certain games (which I will mention a few in this blog) a keyboard over layer and on the right side of the screen there is a small bar that let you change the key.
List of games that we know so far can run this feature.
